About the Smithville Scrappers Competitive Travel Baseball Teams.
Smithville Diamonds Little League organization offers Bloomington and Monroe County Indiana regional baseball & softball facilities and operational support for the Smithville Scrappers competitive youth travel baseball and softball teams with 7U to 13U divisions. Coaches are experienced and are often former high level baseball players themselves! They take pride in spending countless hours coaching our kids individually and in lessons. The Rewards: Our traveling teams teach our local youth many valuable life skills, such as work ethic, good sportsmanship, teamwork and bouncing back from failure - and each year, kids get to play with, and against, the best players in our area and beyond. Every game inspires kids to want to be better, and the experiences teach them to deal with adversity and challenges they may not otherwise encounter. Plus, traveling to, and competing at tournaments is FUN! |
| The Challenge: Each traveling youth sports team has to meet their own unique financial goals and every year and they count on the local community to help cover the costs of travel, entry fees, uniforms, bat bags, equipment and much more!
